We spoke in the match preview of how in these early kick offs one team starts off really slow. This time it was our turn as a non event of a first half was spun on its head in dramatic style as The Reds ran out 3-1 winners at Molineux.

Liverpool looked like they were still half asleep in a really poor first half on our part. Wolves attacked at will and had chance after chance but you never felt like they'd add to their early goal.

With all the speed and skill in their lockers they smashed through the Liverpool lines with ease but their finishing was woeful.. Later in the second half we woke up and could have gone in level at half time. Mo & Szoboszlai unlucky not to score in quick succession.

We just had to get to half time re-group and come out flying unscathed. Which we did.. In style.. The second half started a little slow and we were level just before Nunez entered the field. A quick interchange between Jota & Mo led to Gakpo slotting home from close range.

Nunez, Diaz and the excellent Szoboszlai started to run the show. All three unlucky not to have added to the score before Mo found himself free again and slipped a pass to Robbo who slid the ball into the bottom right corner.. (Read the match preview)

Wolves were down and beaten when Mo who had a hat trick of assists found Harvey on the edge of the box. The young red hit a deflected shot in off the post to make it 3-1. His celebrations were great diving into the travelling reds with Curtis. Red through and through like us all.

Liverpool are top of the shop with players returning for our next fixture plus the majority of the team won't be stepping off planes after a 10 hour plus flight.. On to the Europa League we go..
