Brighton 2-1 Liverpool

The reds hit yet another low in the FA Cup this afternoon.. When you are struggling things just don't go your way.. After taking the lead through Harvey Elliott after some nice build up play we were cruising..

Then after a Trent clearance.. Lamptey hit one from distance that was headed wide.. Dunk sticks a boot out and a deflected one past Ali..

The winner was poor defending all round from not clearing the ball and Robbo giving away a silly foul.. Which wasn't defended at the back post from the initial free kick and then the following cross.. With Brighton finishing well..

The starting line up was again questionable.. It remained solid to be fair but with a draw looking the likely outcome we once again caved in.. Simple possession seems to be missing as are simple passes and decision making..   

Again we finished the game without our best attacking threat Trent AA off the pitch.. He didn't look happy about that and rightly so.. The same questions will be asked once more and with a while til our next game it will once again be a waiting game to try to put things right.. Once again the sooner we can get our injured players back the better..
