WOLVES @ MOLINEUX: SAT 4 FEB 15:00 BST

IN BRIEF

Liverpool head down the M6 to the scene of our recent FA Cup victory against Wolverhampton Wanderers.. Which is once again a must win match if we want any chance of top four this season. With only that & The Champions League left to play for nothing short of an all out attack at these is good enough..

Wolves sit in 17th position and have been draw specialists of late and have won one game against West Ham at home 1-0 and lost twice against City and our good selves.. Leaking goals has been a problem for them.. Not that we aren't guilty of that like.. Plus scoring hasn't come easy for them too.. Although they have some new signings that could feature

We all know our woes.. Once again when things aren't going your way football life can be brutal.. Last time out at Brighton a deflected goal, poor finishing and switching off in the last 5-10 minutes cost us our FA Cup place and a chance to retain the trophy..

LIVERPOOL TEAM NEWS

A little glimmer of hope here with the news that Bobby & Virg trained this week.. Although Konate sours that taste a little with the news he's got a short spell on the sidelines..

Jota & Diaz are obviously still out and we may as well forget about Arthur as chances of seeing him are getting slimmer by the day.. Carvalho could come into contention as could Nat Phillips.. Both are believed to be out with a proper cold..

WOLVES

Team News for Wolves reads as 4 players out Sasa Kalajdzic, Neto, Traore (Not Adama..) & Oliviera.. Other than that they seem to have no other issues.. Wolves were very busy in the transfer window with Joao Gomes, Matheus Cunha, Pablo Sarabia, Mario Lemina, Craig Dawson, and goalkeeper Daniel Bentley all signing up for a stint in the midlands..

As a team Wolves have some very good players to add to that collection.. They are an organised outfit that can hurt you.. They have been slightly off the pace in recent seasons but you know you are in for a tough ride..

DANGERMAN

Ruben Neves - Makes everything tick and can be lethal from free kicks..

LIVERPOOL TEAM

Well to state your guess is as good as anyones is an understatement.. The strong selection with Trent moved up to midfield is one to keep pushing for as there are obvious problems in this department (team selection) at the minute.. But it will probably be similar to last time..

Ali, Milner, Joe, Matip, Robbo, Bajcetic, Thiago, Keita, Harvey, Gakpo, Mo

Hopefully Nunez and Trent feature but we will see..

THE GAME

Very similar to the FA Cup tie if we follow a similar team selection.. With the addition of Mo who in fairness has looked to be getting an understanding with Gakpo a little more. There were some nice little interchanges against Brighton.. Both though simply have to start firing..

Add Nunez to the mix with Trent adding the ammunition from midfield and you are looking at a De Bruyne / Haaland partnership although ours looks better and can wreak havoc on defences for the next decade..

We will need to be solid at the back which is a given in any game at this level.. No mistakes which have given costly goals away all season and lets once again try to score that first goal.. A bit of luck.. No deflections.. and once again we should be strong enough to come away with the points..

Sure Wolves can be dangerous but like Brighton they have some serious weakness in defence and can be easily got at..

PREDICTION: 2-0 to them mighty reds..

OUR DANGERMAN: Mo.. He surely has to start firing soon.. Him & Nunez looked sharp at Villa away.. He's linking up better with Cody.. For the love of all things top 4 start all three of them up top and get this season rolling..
