LEGENDS HIGHLIGHTS // Liverpool 4-2 Ajax
In what was an emotional afternoon at Anfield Liverpool Legends ran out 4-2 winners against their Ajax counterparts.
Considering the age of some of the players the level of performances was very high. Ajax raced into a two goal lead and it was a while before Liverpool turned things around. Goals from Vignal, Cisse, Torres & El Zhar saw the Reds run out easy winners in the end. We are as ever always extremely proud of our club but it is days like this that really firm things up. Seeing Sven Goran Eriksson achieve his eternal dream left a lump in the throat. On top of that the LFC Foundation will once again reap serious rewards which will help the various causes they work closely with.
