Transfer News: Latest..

What's Happening:

Well for starters nobody ever knows for sure anymore and that is just how we like it.. The rumour mill has been rife since the season ended.. So no change there either..

Yet we are all keen on new signings aren't we.. So here's a run down of what's happening to the best of our knowledge..

Darwin Nunez:

This is obviously the one that excites us the most.. We obviously know him from our games with Benfica last season where he scored against us home and away.. Plus we love having a Uruguayan leading our attack..

Our front 3 is certainly in transition with Mane almost certain to leave and we need a recognised striker. This lad has it all. Pace, Skill, Strength & Goals.. Lots of Goals..

According to Paul Joyce & various other news outlets Nunez is keen and we just have to agree to what would be a record breaking fee. Somewhere in the region of £80million plus.. Although we do know how to haggle..

Other News:

Calvin Ramsey:

The youngster from Aberdeen looks a tremendous prospect.. Looks quite assured defensively and very assured in attack.. His deliveries are very good and he looks to have a wicked shot with both feet..

He would come in to give Trent some much needed competition at right back.. Plus if he hits the levels required quickly Trent could have a breather from time to time.. It worked well for Robbo with Tsimikas..

The costs for this deal are being quoted at £4million and if the transfer team are happy then as with the Carvalho deal this looks a great piece of business..

Mane & Other Outgoings:

This one has been done to death but it is where we are at.. Sadly Sadio looks to be on his way and more than likely the announcement is being held up while we search for a replacement..

He is in the twilight of his career so if he does leave then we will all wish him the best I'm sure and will miss him loads.. He's been a great servant for the club and always gave 100%..

Minamino:

News is hitting us today that Minamino could be on his way too.. Which again is quite a sad one.. He seemed to score whenever he played last season. His goals were very important in our league cup run..

Yet with the wealth of quality players around plus the likes of Harvey Elliott, Curtis Jones and Carvalho pushing for places he falls in to the same bracket as Origi..

They deserve to be playing.. If we had injuries you'd love them to play.. Yet they are really going to struggle for game time with the quality of players our squad now possesses..

An offer in the region of £15-20million would likely see Taki leave for pastures new..

Kelleher:

After his heroics in the League Cup Final he will always have a place in our hearts.. He has been Ali's back up all season and has never let us down when he's filled in..

Again here is the problem with quite a few of our players.. They are good.. Very good.. And they should all be playing regular first team football..

Its also a testament for the type of player Klopp signs.. They most certainly are not here for the money (so to speak).. Obviously they are set for life but they genuinely want to play.

Kelleher will undoubtedly want to know what his future holds at Liverpool. Yet he is not replacing Ali anytime soon.. So a move looks very likely if he wants the game time. A loan or a sale quite possibly on the cards..
