Darwin Nunez Wins The Vote:

Just dotting the I's & crossing the T's on this one.. It was inevitable after smashing in 4 goals in the second half wasn't it really.. We've got a cracking player on our hands here. Which we saw and learnt las season first hand..

The four finishes were all very different.. The penalties of which he is some what of a specialist will be more expertly dispatched with his new found confidence.. But its that killer instinct all great strikers have that was great to see..

Just knowing where to be and when.. The second for example.. He saw what was unfolding and attacked the space. Took the ball away from the defender and left the keeper no chance..

The third was the most difficult and he made it look easy with his weaker foot. Again arriving at the right time and finishing clinically. But the movement for the fourths really impressed.. Yes its simple and obvious but this is what strikers do. 

They create space for others and themselves. Plus in the process causing all sorts of problems for defenders.. He is a natural.. We have struck gold here..

Carvalho & Bajcetic:

Once again Carvalho came high in the vote after another action packed display and wonderful piece of skill before setting up Nunez for his fourth.

Yet the young Stefan Bajcetic was a name firmly on everyones lips after coming on in holding midfield and putting his name firmly in the thoughts of Klopp and his staff.. 

His quickness of thought to snap in to a tackle. Win the ball and release Harvey Elliott to lay on Nunez for his hat-trick one of many highlights from his performance.
