After weeks and months of turmoil things really turned around for Trent last night against Rangers in The Champions League..

Klopp changed up the formation which was long needed to a 4-2-3-1 and it allowed Trent to re-brand his game. He was far more controlled in his attacking play and this helped his defensive duties massively. he was never out of position..

He looked far more relaxed and confident and when Nunez was brought down on the edge of the box you just knew Trent was gonna bend one into the top corner (I had him to score from outside the box.. boosh..).. and what a strike it was..

Next up in the vote was our Greek Scouser Kostas Tsimikas who as ever fills in/rotates with Robbo effortlessly. Again was solid in defence and controlled in attack.

His goal line clearance in the latter stages of the game was a moment of class. He was well on his toes and spotted the danger to prevent a certain goal..

Also a shout out to Nunez who was hard at it all night. Chasing everything down from the front. Getting in behind the Rangers defence and unlucky not to score on quite a few occasions.. If only he wasn't facing an inspired goalkeeper in Allan McGregor.. The veteran was pretty formidable last night..
