Harvey Wins The Vote:
In what was a much better all round display in this pre season friendly our new number 19 Harvey Elliott won our group vote for the Star Player against Palace in Singapore..
Elliott started the game in the midfield role he pretty much nailed down before his awful injury last season pretty much ended his season. Operating on the right hand side of the midfield three he was constantly on the ball. Linking up nicely with everyone. In particular Milner, Hendo & The Ox.
He set up Hendo really well for his goal after some nice play with a lovely intelligent cut back. Plus with a few more games under his pre season belt he would have easily finished a close rang chance he sliced wide with his weaker foot.
As with Curtis Jones who also looked good. Konate who was absolutely dominant & Carvalho who won the last vote against United (and you'll get bored of me saying this..) These young players are just unbelievable we are lucky to have them..
