Harvey Elliott What A Player:

As with all our players you run out of superlatives to explain just how good they are.. When Harvey signed we knew he came with an exceptional pedigree.. His career has progressed nicely barring the injury last season. Add to this he is red through and through and you can see why we are getting these quality performances from the young lad..

After a slow start for the team and going one down to Newcastle you look to your leaders. Our team is packed with them. Its one of the key ingredients to our success.. Yet in Young Harvey and Carvalho too we must add.. They step up to the plate. I won't say time and again as they are still in their very early days lets face it..

But Elliott grabbed this game by the scruff of the neck and is a yard ahead of everyone in his thinking and his ability.. He once again was everywhere. The ball sticks and he is always looking to be creative. He drove the team Saturday too and his goal was in the back of the net before you could blink.

He was unlucky not to get on the score sheet again.. Where a little pass to Mo was probably the better option but these things will come. The future is bright for Harvey and for us..

Harvey Elliott Wins Your Vote..

Carvalho:

Surely we couldn't talk about Star Players without a shout for Fabio Carvalho.. He was runner up and rightly so.. He fulfilled every young lads dream last night (Well those who grew up supporting the best team in the world..).. Scoring a last minute winner at Anfield.. Just a shame it wasn't at the Kop End..

Still he bagged that one on Saturday in a birthday week he will never forget.. He has played a substitutes roll in every game and in every game he could have and should have scored.. Hitting one just wide against Palace if memory serves me right..!

We mentioned him earlier in this post as a leader and he certainly has these characteristics.. Chasing back into the left back spot to win a ball and start an attack.. Quickness of thought from that Milner free kick he sliced wide.. and getting stuck in in that goal mouth scramble to bazooka one in off the crossbar..

We certainly have a player on our hands here..

"Thought Elliott was our best player by far."

Steve

"Harvey lad was my motm. He kept pushing and pushing throughout the game. It's beyond me how the ref allowed the Geordies to waste away the game. Luckily it hit back on them in the end.. Carvalho deserves to start next game."

Anders

"Wow, what a game... Elliott was one who pushed team today, but I think he needs to relax more. He will be even better. Hope Klopp will play Elliott and Carvalho from start soon"

Nik

"Elliott for me,the lad is a special talent as we all know but each game grows in confidence and he covered so much ground last night just unbelievable"
