Bobby Firmino Star Player:

The best in the world came out on top in the groups vote for Star Player against Bournemouth in the 9 nil win at Anfield.. Chipping in with an impressive three assists and two goals.. One of which he didn't even watch hit the back of the net.. Our number 9 is back..

He had been subject to some question marks regards his goal return of late but you always get a shift out of Bobby. Working tirelessly for the good of the team. Yesterday he bagged his 100th goal for the reds and we've loved everyone of them.. and the quality of celebrations..

Both goals were scored from close range against The Cherries and his first assist was a perfectly weighted cross for Diaz to springboard the reds onto the offensive with a header into the top right hand corner..

Diaz Runner Up:

I mean there were so many great performances in the game.. Ali was off his line like a rocket.. Trent & Robbo defended and attacked like we know they can.. Joe & Virg didn't have lots to do but shut off all space in behind. The midfield were strong and quick into tackles.. 

Young Harvey was just class.. Mo was unlucky and all the subs played a part too.. Tsimikas with 2 assists and Carvalho with his first goal for the club..

Yet it was our Colombian winger who yet again put in an amazing performance.. Like we said starting off the scoring and indeed finishing it with a bullet header from one of those Tsimikas assists.. He was rampant all game.. Holding the ball up nicely.. Attacking their defence and just being a general menace..
