Virgil Van Dijk Wins Your Vote:

In what was a landslide victory in our group vote for Player Of The Season OurVirg towered above the rest.. The man is an absolute beast and  hardly missed a game..

When you consider the severity of the injury he suffered last season. Some players simply never come back from them let alone compete the way he has. It was like he had never been away. 

This sort of injury I feel takes players a good 2 years to fully recover from so next season we should see an even better version of our number 4.. We are just so pleased for one he got back on the pitch, and for two he just strolled through the season injury free..

The Stats:

With all this in mind lets look at the stats in the Premier League.. There's some impressive reading here..

These numbers show just how remarkable his recovery season was and the high performance levels and stability he brings to the team. Giving away just nine fouls and receiving three cards is a show of his composure and we are all well versed with his long range passing.. Very impressive

The Others:

As we all agree we are very much a team. This was reflected in the vote too as it was very close for the rest of the boys. They all played a huge part in what was an amazing season.

It was no surprise that Alisson came runner up in the vote though and Diaz came third. Ali was like a brick wall all season saving us time and again and helps to keep Virgil's stats looking healthy..

And Diaz well.. He was just a revelation and I'm sure he will win another vote we have planned so I won't big him up too much just yet as I'll run out of things to write. So lets see what you all had to say..
