Confirmed: Neco Williams Makes Forest Switch
The club have today confirmed the news that we have been hearing for a few weeks that Neco Williams has finally completed his transfer to Nottingham Forest on a 4 year deal.. With a transfer fee of around £17million it is very good business for the club having brought in Calvin Ramsay for significantly less a few weeks ago.
It's a great move for the 21 year old who will link up with ex Liverpool coach Steve Cooper's young yet very talented team in their first season back in the Premier League after a long time..

I remember switching on LFCTV one night to watch a reserve game a few years ago and a young Neco Williams was brought into the squad due to injuries etc at a young 16 years old against a very experienced Leicester side.
First half he got slaughtered but second half he came out and totally dominated.. You knew then we had a player on our hands. His ability to learn and adapt so quickly really impressed me and earned him such high regard from Stevie G too..
It was always going to be tough for him as it is for any young player coming through to make the grade. With Trent in front of him, Joe Gomez & Ramsay as back up you can see just how tough that task was. After a loan last season to Championship winning Fulham another move was always highly likely..
We certainly wish Neco all the best.. Just not against us..
