It was a very close call as we put it to the vote in our Facebook group once more.. Bobby just shaved it after an excellent performance against Benfica. He really found his form again thankfully. Linking up well with his team mates. Closing defenders down and chipping in with two close range finishes.. He was unlucky not to add a few assists into the mix too. No more so than a last ditch clearance denying Diaz a deserved goal and a little bit of a weighty one-two return pass to Jota..
It was great to see Bobby back to his best and lets have it right.. No one celebrates a goal like him do they as you can see in the picture below. Legendary..
Who Was Second..
Well running Bobby close and I mean within one vote was our Greek left back Tsimikas.. He was on fire all night. He certainly had his assist laden boots on too as his corner landed beautifully on Konate's head for the first. Then his free kick in the second half was floated in nice for Bobby to finish clinically from close range.. Another one who's price tag is rocketing. Similar to Andy Robbo's.. Both cheap as chips quality signings.. He also likes to celebrate.. All winners do though don't they..
