Man Of The Match V Arsenal

Andy Robertson was bang at it tonight in the 2-0 win at Arsenal. In what on paper was a very tricky game. With the edge that City dropped points earlier in the week the nerves could've been a factor. Not for this Liverpool team and defo not for our Scottish left back..

From the off he was quick in to the tackles and charging up and down that left flank. Obviously he's come up against Saka before and the young Arsenal winger has never really come out on top. This game was to be no different. Robbo never gave Saka an inch and had the young lad tracking him back into his own half many a time.

The only thing really lacking in Robbo's performances of late are his usually quality crosses. This was also to change in the second half when he whipped in an old school hard and low cross from which Bobby Firmino flicked in from close range. All in all a great night for the reds.. Andy Robbo Man of the Match..
