Cutting in from the left and curling a ball nicely into the right hand corner.. Remarkably it was only 1-0 at the break and the flood gates opened..
We talked about how United had not won away at City & Arsenal and this would be a test of their metal and they had chances in the first half but Ali, Konate & Virg were strong and soaked it up..
Second half Nunez scored from close range after some seriously messy play all round. Did we care.. Not at all.. Gakpo scored an absolute beauty minutes later lifting the ball over De Gea with a cool lob..
Salah was next on the score sheet with a right footed thunderbolt.. Nunez headed in before Mo hit his record breaking goal. Knocking Robbie Fowler off the charts. Which is no mean feat.. With a close range finish..
The best in the world finished the scoring with minutes to go.. Finishing cooly again from close range leaving the keeper no chance.. We'll miss that smile..
So top four is very much on. The goal average looks a bit better and Diaz is still to come back.. Buzzing..
