Liverpool started quick but found themselves 1 down after 3 minutes when Neto scored from close range.. Mane levelled before the break after a lovely ball from Thiago..
Mane also had a goal disallowed for offside before the substitute Mo Salah scored our second from close range. Andy Robbo smashed in the third and we just had to wait to find out if Villa could equalise after being 2 goals up and letting it slip..
It was not meant to be and of course we are gutted but what a season from the boys.. They have done us proud. This will be a huge knock but this will fire us up for the game in Paris.. Where we will indeed go again..
